Mara like a tornado in Miami

No problem for Mara Santangelo in the second round of the "Sony Ericsson Open" in Miami: the Italian world champion, seeding no.32, had no difficulty in seeing off, with 6-3 6-1, in fifty-eight minutes, the American Jill Craybas, the author of Roberta Vinci’s elimination in the first round.

In the third round Santangelo will have a decidedly tough adversary on the other side of the net, the Serbian Jelena Jankovic, seventh in the seeding and number 9 in the world ranking.

Mara has already faced this dangerous Serb this year, in the second round of the tournament of Dubai in the Arab Emirates, and Jankovic got the better of her by 6-3 7-5.
